New York - Broadway Shows

Post by *Cazzy-Lou* »

Hi All

I'm hoping there might be someone here who can help.

I am going to New York soon with my partner for our birthday's & would like to see some shows. However Broadway is SO expensive. I know about the lottery's etc but when I've been with my Mum before we've spent so much time waiting around for them & it doesn't even guarantee you a ticket. As the time there is valuable (so many sights to see, so little time) I don't want to waste it waiting on the off chance of getting tickets.

Therefore I'm just wondering if anyone knows any ways to get cheap tickets in advance?

Thank you for any information you can provide! :)

I signed up for e-mail updates/early sales etc with roundabout theatre...they're a very active production company and did Violet with Sutton Foster as well as Into The Woods recently and Cabaret with Alan Cumming, which we saw (he was stunning). The tickets ended up at West End prices, worth checking out.
