Funding

Post by debmag »

Hello
I wonder if anyone has any funding ideas? My daughter has been offered a part scholarship to Emil Dale Academy but it still leaves a substantial amount to find & as a single parent it's beyond me. The course isn't eligible for student loans/gov funding etc as it's a private institution.
We have so far set up a go fund me page but it's not generating much interest & I guess rightly so when there's many more pressing issues people set these pages up for.
I've emailed my local m.p, no help there!
I've written to some charitable trusts...nothing so far!
We live in North Wales so it's a low income area & businesses generally struggle.
Anything else? Needs to be for a substantial amount really.
TIA Deb xx

Maybe contact local big companies to see if they will sponsor, or get the local papers interested in doing an article on her ....
We were lucky enough to get some local funding for dd, who is now on a full scholarship at Bodyworks.
Try The princes trust

Good luck and don't give up xxx
I believe that children are our future, teach them well and let them lead the way.......
