Spotlight - moving from child to adult
I'm 17 years old, and at the moment I am in Spotlight because I have an agent, and that entitles me to be in the young performers book. However, I don't have any pro credits, and I'm pretty sure that to be in the adult book you have to have at least 3 professional credits? So, does this mean that when I hit 18, I won't be allowed into the books unless I get 3 pro credits? Or will I be able to stay in because I am already on their books?

As far as i'm aware, and i might be completely wrong! but according to the Spotlight info i've been given (and i'm 18 too, with no prof creds) from 16-20 you are a 'young performer' where you can only be on spotlight if you are with an agent or if you are at a ful ltime stage school. Hope this helps.

That is completely right as my son falls into that category

Oh great, that's good - gives me a little more time to get some pro credits then! Thanks!
