Hi,
I am doing a concert and I am looking for suggestions for a musical theatre song to sing. I am 15 and a soprano, although I would like something that is in the chest voice and a song which can show off your acting skills too.
Thank you,
Ellie.

Re: Song help!
I think 'Strongest Suit' from Aida would be a fab song to sing and perform to
Thats one of my favourites. Best of luck with whichever song you choose!

"Show Off" from Drowsy Chaperone is a real crowd pleaser as well

The highway's jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive.
Re: Song help!
im not sure about chest voice but i have seen "taylor the latte boy" performed and it sounded amazing and really showed off the acting side!!

Re: Song help!
I recently saw Sweet Charity (twice!) and I think 'If They Could See Me Now' would be a good one - it's really fun and has lots of acting potential. It's quite low but I'm attaching a link of Tamzin Outhwaite singing it who I think does it a bit higher (or seems to anyway) than Shirley McLaine who played Charity in the film. But if you want to use your chest voice then it would definitely be good for that if you can reach the low notes comfortably :)
