stolen family rail card

On Monday I had my purse stollen have just remembered that I had my family rail card in there, in the summer when I had my card renewed I lost it got it replaced had to pay £5 was told that they would only do this once after that I would have to pay the full money, was just wondering if any one knows because I did not lose it, it was stolen and I have been to the police to report the theft if I will have to pay the full amount, dont think that if I have to pay the full money as I have the recept some where from the summer its a bit of a rip off that they will only replace it once

Oh dear - I think the best thing would be to give them a ring and explain - it isn't as if you just lost it so I would hope they would be kind x

Did you put another name on your card ? Perhaps you can have a new card for the second person ? well its worth a try ! I am sure they will be ok about it, good luck
