Agency for ads & modelling

Post by IGeorgeaux »

I am fairly new to the whole performing' for children thing and a bit out of the loop sinceChloe is in the French system where there is pretty much no such thing as drama club, etc.... Would the same agent or agency offer opps for modelling AND advertising or would it be 2 different specialties? One way or the other, any good agent/agency you would recommend? We are in London and Chloe is 11... Thanks a lot and happy holidays to all

Hi IGeorgeaux!
I think it basically depends on the agency. There are a lot of children's agencies who do modelling, adverts, films and tv etc., but you can also have one modelling agency and one agent for tv and film work. It really depends on what you want.
Agency wise you could think about getting the book 'Contacts' which lists all of the reputable agencies, or if it's modelling and adverts you're specifically after then I've heard that Chillikids is good, but I'm a lot older than your daughter so I'm not really sure about the best agencies for the age group. This thread discusses modelling agencies, so you could have a look at that: http://www.notapushymum.com/phpbb/viewt ... =2&t=12861
Hope that's helpful, good luck with it all!
