Anyone have any advice on which sites/ magazines kids can be on or look atfor work for extras, film, commercials etc....our son is just starting out so its all new to us.

couple of ideas
Check if you have a regional film council and theatre networks and join up good for extra experience and also for casting of student films to get you going
Check if your local theatres have kids academy as a good expeience and network opportunity

i would also keep an eye on screen terrier http://screenterrier.blogspot.com/ as sometimes they have interesting casting calls
