DD has to write scene from comedy script for college,she says she is blank for ideas any clever people on here got ideas?

anxious parents with performing children can be very funny especially at stage festivals and the like .. sometimes the kids are so cool and parents are the total opposite I saw a very funny character dance at a festival once on that theme it was hillarious but prob more so cause all us mums in the audience could not deny we could see ourselves somewhere in that character. lol

The best scripts come from something the writer knows about so I would examine her own experiences.

The ups and downs of village am dram can be great fun - all the interuptions, over dramatic leads, leaky roofs, faulty electricals etc, deaf prompt, double booking of village hall etc

dd has started writng one about speed dating-not sure how funny it is,comedy really hard.
