My Christmas present from dh was tickets for Matilda at half term \:D/ \:D/ \:D/ (I'm amazed he'd even heard of it but it turns out that a work colleague's son is in the RSC and is in it :o ) As we're unlikely to get a chance (or the money) to go again, do you think we would enjoy it even more if I bought the OCR beforehand for us to listen to?? Thoughts please.........

thats exactly what i have done! i am going in april and we have loved listening to all the songs, we are now even more excited to go :)

I have done that with other "new" shows I have been to, I do think it means you enjoy it more.

I'm glad I'm not alone in wanting to do this sophiesocks and Welsh Mum. Thought maybe it was a bit keen and also wondered if anyone could actually recommend the recording, so thanks. I feel reassured and have broken into a Christmas amazon voucher :D :D :D

Hope you enjoy it sophiesocks. Will see if I feel literate enough to post a review - although you feel a bit stupid doing one when there are Mums on here who must have seen their own children in it dozens of times! Still they haven't posted REVIEWS! [-X
