Anyone been to a Beverley Keogh Casting?

Post by Thalias_Dad »

DD has a casting in Manchester for Beverley Keogh. Her agent says it is in the form of a workshop. Can anyone tell me how Ms Keogh runs her workshops and what format they take? Many thanks.

It will depend what the job is really. I would guess they will do some improvisation around whatever the brief is.

They will explain what they want/need though and they are very nice!

Some of my students went for a casting a couple of years ago but they had script to learn in advance.

Is that the place in Ardwick Green????
We went there last summer but was just given brief on the day........ think anything you get asked to do will be relevant to the job.

Beverley Keogh and her assistant casting directors are really professional

In my experience you could get a character given and be asked to improvise, or be given a couple of lines to read. It does depend on the brief
