Codes

Hi, I'm new to this site and I noticed that you all use abreviations, could someone tell me what ds and dd stand for, I'm sure it's really obvious! Thank you. :?

DS - dear son or darling son
DD - daughter
DH - husband

its pretty much ingrained in my head now though - its good because it stops us accidentally getting too relaxed and risk putting our childrens names on here, and to have an abbreviation we all know who we're talking about by having one way of referring to our children (whether its sons or daughters/ or children) -
The problem is sometimes when I write an email to a friend I sometimes accidentally put 'dd' when talking about my daughter!! but getting better on that now
