Musical Youth UK

Post by mogs »

Hi. Has anyone had any experience of Musical youth UK? My ds couldn't audition for NYMT this year as we had already booked a summer holiday during their dates but he could do this if he were accepted. Just wondered if it's worth sending off an application form or are they more like a stageschool? Thanks

Taking ds to the audition this morning hoping to get more information. Has anyone else auditioned or know anything about the company?

Thanks both. The audition went well and we woke up to an e mail this morning saying he was through! Still finding out about them at the moment (as we only found out about the audition last minute) but have to say the people we met were lovely. They were very friendly and welcoming and put him at ease before he sang for them. They have places in London, Manchester and Bristol and are looking to open in Cardiff.

ahhh what a shame - I was wondering how your DS found it Mogs?
Saturdays are tricky for a lot of kids with other commitments...
