Do you normal put Credits on your cv when....?

Hi everyone

Do you normally put any credits you had in short films, e c. T when you get the role instantly, or do you put it when you finished filming. Normally if I get the role I just put it on my cv. Am I doing this the right way or have I gone wrong and should I leave it out until I finished filming.

It's just that when I put it on my cv, it sometimes takes a while before the actual filming and I sometimes think I'm being too early?

I think I would at least wait until filming starts. Lots of plans can change - especially with films.

You don't need to wait until it is released/finished I don't think, but you do need to know it's definitely going to happen

You could always mention that you have been cast in an "upcoming" film when you apply for things though.

On iMDB they say preproduction/filming/ postproduction etc to show what stage they are at. You could put one of those in brackets after in. I usually put Commitments: at the bottom of the list of things my dd has done, eg at the monent she is in rehearsals for Alice (in Alice in Wonderland) and then the dates of the show, I also put dates that she is definitely unavailable, eg piano exam 28th June (can't miss that!)

Thank you for that can do that too. Just checked with a production company if they're still filming and they sent a script and possible months for filming, which will be posted soon to me. So i know that it's definately filming now!
