info on a CV

Post by georgiespencer »

To whomever reads this,
If someone could reply to this as soon as possible it was be much appreciated! I have an audition tomorrow (Saturday 7th June) and on my CV I want to write that I can sing, however I have never been trained so do not have a range. I was wondering if someone could help me with the correct terminology on my CV to write this? Thank you!!

I always preface my answers by saying I'm not an expert, but just in cast no one else answers I'll put my two penn'orth in - I don't think there's anything wrong with saying that you have a 'natural, untrained singing voice'. Good luck with your audition :D :D .

Do you know if you are a soprano (sing high) or alto (lower range). Those descriptions are fine. Also can you belt? You can also put that down
