How do you find talent/singing festivals?

Hi,
I was wondering, can anyone tell me how to find an art festival for kids to enter? I've tried to google and nothing comes up in our area (cambs) but I know of people from other parts of the country that have attended them with young kids? I mean the kind where a yound child can share a poem/story or sing a song and get a medal for it? Nothing like the XFactor lol

Just wanted to say that my two had a great time taking part in a local festival over the weekend, thank you pg for the link which I used to find and book it It was well worth doing it and I was really impressed with the high level of the entries, some of the children were simply amazing!! We found the feedback v valuable and of course seeing my little girl sing on a big stage as she was invited back for the final concert was the highlight Would definitely do it again, in fact we are already thinking of the next year's entry lol
