Site Move...

Post by admin »

Just so that everyone knows, I am in the process of moving the site from one host, to another.

This could mean that in a few weeks, the site may go offline for a bit, but I will try everything I can to prevent that happening for too long. It could also mean that some posts go missing during the forum move, (when I do that bit), or that the site will be here, but the forum inactive. As I have never done this before, I'm not sure how it all works... :( It might make a difference to those of you who use 'cookies' to get on the site (your PC has remembered where to go, to get here) If that happens simply re-type the name in the top bar, and it should find, and remember the new address...the www.notapushymum.com WILL STILL BE THE SAME...

Consider it as 'moving house' (getting a mansion tho ;) :D ) and some stuff may have to go into storage for a few days...

However, the plus points will be that the dreaded bandwidth problem shouldn't happen again. =D> =D> I can sell mini sites to fund the site (more details after the move) and we will have loads of space to put a number of different types of new articles on!! its all for a good reason!

hang on in there with us....we will get there. :D

I'm looking forward to moving Smurf Queen's website on to the NAPM site.

I am a new member of the forum and have to say I feel a part of it all already! Fingers cossed for the move. Don't know about anyone else out there but have you thought about having your own agency????????? It seems like you have the basis of one. I have learned so much about the business from "NPM" - gosh that wouldn't be a bad name for it!
Thank you so much for all the info and time you put in to it all.

Southwold four that is such a good idea for anyone prepared to set one up. It wouldn't be me with my organisational skills!

It's something we've discussed in the past. We have lots of members with various skills and contacts but it would be a huge committment. Also the site would possibly become secondary to the agency and we don't want that. ;) Image

Yes I can see that but perhaps as you get bigger someone will come along who would have the time and skills to set up alongside you. I think the time has come for another really good children's/teenager's agency. It would be great also to have an agency who dealt with more film work.

Southwold four

To get to Pebbles website you click on memberlist at the top of the page and then you will find some people have websites on the side.

Hope this helps!

Busy I see you are good with the emoticons too!!

Do you copy and paste them from somewhere. My girls are better at IT than I am
