That’s awful . Why happened in the end ? Did she get a place ?becmum wrote: ↑Sun Jun 07, 2020 6:35 pm
No she got a diploma offer a week after her audition, went on reserve list for funding. So could accept fee paying place or wait to see if got funding. Was told she had a good score and so waited to hear. Got forms for dada sent so filled in sent back. Then heard nothing at all until August with the email asking for her address for when she starts diploma. So was completely baffled! They said she was the only one who hadn’t sent it to them. Said we hadn’t got confirmation of her place or funding then they emailed me to say sorry they had sent the email in error. Heard nothing else. I followed it up at a later date and they said they had her down as declining her place! I realise that they have hundreds to deal with but at no stage did we decline the place...

We still haven't heard anything from Laine even though we have sent numerous emails.
Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
My dd has turned down Bird but having a Skype interview this week for Arts Ed foundation before she makes her final decision over there, Laine or Wilkes
Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Received an email today to say that all ArtsEd 2020/21 bursary funding is going to second and third year students and no first years which is a pain. Back to the drawing board for us.

Gosh. Is this because a lot of 2nd and 3rd years will have different financial needs in the current situation?
Re: Auditioning for 2020 entry
Yes I believe so which is great that they are looking after their current students not so great for those who were hoping to start in September and were relying on funding. Luckily my DS hadn’t turned down his other offers but he knows of a few who have.Dancemum1973 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 10:48 amGosh.
