Anyone who has seen a copy of the script can you tell me is the language toned down at all. Dd is desperate to see it and a local company are doing it but I feel she is just a little young yet for the uneditied version!

It's been toned down completely IOS! We have 6 year olds taking part in our local production. Definitely OK for your dd now

Thanks.
Thats annoying in a way as they must have changed the criteria. We decided not to apply to do it as they said only children aged 9 and above could take part and that would have meant excuding all our youngest students.

There are a few 7 year olds in my dd's production and a token 5 year old. I would imagine there are many more little ones taking part in this across the country - there are 115 groups involved in total.

DD started rehearsals for this last Sunday, she's playing 'dead Mum' (plus ensemble) can't wait 'til June now! Only problem is I can't get through 'the letter' without blubbing as it is, what
will I be like with DD singing it!

Good luck to all those involved with these productions. DS has had a fab time and can't wait for the next venue in Portsmouth on Friday. Regards to the language, it has been toned down, but it there is still quite a bit of swearing( which my ds has to say quite a bit of, much to his pleasure

) Has anyone heard about the regional finals yet?

DS theatre group found out this week that they have been selected for the regional finals. So pleased after all the hard work that has been put in. They are going to Brighton. Any one else going?
