Hi Katymac,
yes I agree, its a real pain, I wonder if its something they will upgrade as iPads become more and more used instead of laptops? When (ever??) I get more time, I may have a go at trying to record the track playing through computer speakers onto either the iPad direct or onto disc so I can load it into itunes...it seems a very long way around the bush, but I agree with you that the right backing track is more important and DD more often than not sings a capella rather than along to an overly synthesised track.

Of course, I could go back to learning piano and set myself up in business doing not -too- pricey backing tracks... :-k

DD is an enthusiastic but not very good singer - she is great in a choir!

But solo singing needs more practise & this could have been great
