Re: **MY APOLOGY**
But you do know if you look through the post first. Or if an audition is closed there is no point asking for ages etc as you can't possibly be put forward for it jmartin as you don't have an agent.
I think you need to possibly perhaps read things thoroughly, then if you still have questions afterwards then ask. I would also advise you speak with your parents as if you are serious about performing etc then you'll be best placed by having an agent as they will know what is and isn't right to put you forward for x

Yeah, I've sent some emails off for agents. I'm basically just looking aroundDwafffamily wrote:But you do know if you look through the post first. Or if an audition is closed there is no point asking for ages etc as you can't possibly be put forward for it jmartin as you don't have an agent.

Re: **MY APOLOGY**
No-one is saying to not post, but to read the thread first just to make sure your questions haven't already been answered and that they are relevant. As far as I can tell, whenever you've asked for advice on how to take things forward and where to start, you've been given very good advice here which is very helpful in this industry.
I do feel that having a discussion with your mum about info you've found etc will again, help reinforce all the information you're receiving here which can only help you make sense of it all.

Re: **MY APOLOGY**
I've just said pretty much the same Dwarffamily on another thread in young actor audition thread 9-15. JMartin, if you don't read, take the advice given on board & use it, people will end up not giving you advice when you really need it. People are taking so much time out to help you and whenever something is posted (which I did earlier) that you don't like you throw your dummy out the pram, come on this thread and say you are leaving. I'm really sorry but you need to grow up and listen to the advice people are giving you. You are perfectly capable of reading threads, its doesn't take long.
Re: **MY APOLOGY**
I do appreciate everything and thank you to everybody, but it just seems like everyone's being a little harsh. That's why I'm going is because I just feel like a nuisance.
Thanks everyone and sorry

Re: **MY APOLOGY**
I am being harsh now.. You posted asking about a DVD on the auditions 9-15 page, asking what we think.. I told you no parent on here in their right mind is going to tell you to go for it, that's for you and your parents to decide. PG and others had previously given you so much information on another thread you opened about a short student film. The same rules apply. It's very frustrating seeing threads popping up over and over when you have already been given the advice you need.

I'm not criticising you, I'm advising you that you have already been given the advice. ](./images/smilies/eusa_wall.gif)

I am not sure why you are taking offence so easily. Perhaps its nuances of language, but people are actually being very helpful. You tend to concentrate on the "perceived" negative posts while overlooking the positive ones. And I do not understand why this should put you off applying for jobs. Nobody on here has any influence on jobs (at least I don't think so!!).

I understand a lot of good information is conveyed here and is distinctively beneficial to all the users. I think I must be taking it too personally and just need to take it on the chin .. Even though matilda says not to in matilda the musical

Now that's what I wanna be in. Matilda!:)

You are doing fine!
I'm glad you are sticking with us and not being driven away. Perseverance is a good trait to have
I do admire you for taking the criticism on the chin - and for responding with humour. All of the performers on the forum are working hard to "change the story" for themselves.
I'm sorry if I have been particularly snippy with you as a newcomer to the site. If you can stick with it, we can get used to each others' styles and help each other.
