In the Manchester auditions my DD attended,there were about 15 under 16's and about 8 over 16's and they said they were casting for lots of things and pointed out Hat Hair, Jamie Johnson which is the football drama and lead casting was announced last week, The Lodge season 2 and 'Some other projects'.

It has only been a week guys, as much as it seems London is the place to be this is only a short time to wait, they have to go back and look through everybody and may not have the time. However they were very clear in saying that most of the projects are filming this summer, and therefore we have to hear something eventually as summer is just around the corner! Fingers crossed that next week is the week for everybody.

Well we haven't heard anything else. It's still early days though.

A few were asked to self tape from the London workshops has there been any further news on this for people be lovely to hear some good news

It went to agents as well so lots of self tapes for CD to look through

My DD had a casting on her own for the DHX for a main role but not heard anything yet. Seems like there are quite a few projects in the pipeline though. Good luck to everyone who auditioned !

Goodluck! I was thinking of submitting myself for the role of Edie. Did your dd get a response for the first self tape? Or is that what she's waiting for? x

It was not a self tape. She had an Audition in London through her agent on a one to one basis and had to learn 2 scenes. Still waiting to hear though !

Well I officially give up on this thought someone would have heard from Manchester

Would think that the kids who were asked to give more details and answer questions would been contacted, my DD wasn't selected to answer extra questions so not expecting her to get an e-mail.

mine was asked but not heard anything either so don't think it means anything much to be honest

It's been nearly 3 weeks since DS had to do a self tape from the London workshop not heard any thing they are starting to film soon so have given up on hearing back they prob have an American for the part all the other actors in the project are American

I was in the London audition and they asked me a few questions and I got a request to self tape for the DHX project. Not heard anything since that so not pinning any hopes on it though and I noticed that on cast it talent submissions are still being accepted for the roles up for grabs =]
