We heard from Millennium end of November last year so hopefully you will hear soon. Good luck everybody-waiting for offers is awful

Thanks from me too, DD auditioning at Arts Ed in Jan.

I work in London a lot and went to see a production there on Tuesday evening. Really enjoyed it.

When DS auditioned for Arts Ed the recalls were in the afternoon of that day. Offer came through exactly one week later so nice and quick. Good luck.

Yes, that's what happened on Tuesday. DD had a great day. Back down to London today at RCM and another same day recall :D

Arts is a great place. Fab training and the kids remain a close knit bunch for many years after.

Oh my goodness, DD has been offered the degree at Millenium!!! \:D/ \:D/. I am so pleased for her, but slightly confused as she applied for the diploma!! I hadn't even looked at the degree as she won't have turned 18 by September, so am trying to get my head around it. :lol: :lol: The letter says we have to accept by 19th Dec with £75 admission fee, which is non-refundable. Those of you who have been there and done this, do you have to pay this every time to secure a place? This is going to give her so much confidence for the remaining auditions, I can't quite believe it. Hooray!!! =D> =D>

Well done to your DD Jennifer 1972, a great confidence boost for her! My DD auditions there on Saturday so fingers crossed.
And yes I think all the colleges ask for a non returnable deposit to hold a place. Good luck for the rest of your DD's auditions. xxx

To answer your question, I think most schools ask you to pay a deposit to secure a place. LSC doesn't though and they consider it bad that other schools do. They said to me that we should be able to wait until all the offers are in to commit so they keep your place until May or June if I remember well.

Thanks so much and good luck to your DD!! My DD really enjoyed her audition there, the place isn't much to look at but the people are so nice!

Great news!

Bird said they don't ask for payment to secure the place and they felt it was bad form to request it.
