Just to follow up on this thread, my DD has just come back from the Summer School at Laines. She has learned a lot - about what it is like to be at full time dance school e.g. how physically demanding it was; what the competition will be like at auditions; what Laines is like; what it is like to live with a landlady etc.

They also gave one scholarship for next year's Summer School from each course. One boy was lucky enough to also be awarded a 3 year scholarship for the full time course, so certainly worth his while attending! :D
