Glad my dd isn't the only one that does that. Oh to be that age again lol.

I have one that does and one that doesn't. Variety is the spice of life!

Very true.... Your dd is a very good singer. What age did she start singing? (If you don't mind me asking)
I'm a member and this is all very new to me. My dd announced she wanted to be on stage etc and I thought ok let's help push her dream.

Thank you, that's very kind.
Flo was born singing - well, near enough. The first recollection I have of her singing was when she was 14 months old. She started singing 'Twinkle Twinkle Little Star' and just kept going. Every time she got to the final 'How I wonder what you are' she continued with 'Up above the world so high...' We must have distracted her with something or she'd still be singing it now!
She joined the county choir when she was 5, started private singing lessons when she was 6 and sang her first solo in concert that same year. It's just gone on from there really. Songwriting is new - Flo started to take an interest in that towards the end of last year. She already had recording experience from jobs she had done, but her interest in songwriting developed into an interest in how songs are produced so she spends quite a lot of time hanging out in recording studios these days.
Hope this helps. Feel free to ask any questions, we're always happy to share our experience so others can learn from it too.
Good luck to your dd - hope she has lots of fun, and don't forget to let us know how she gets on.

Congratulations to those who got accepted
And if not...Sorry to hear you didn't get a 'yes' this time. But don't be down heartened - rejection goes with the territory and having an agent isn't everything.
Plus it's better to get an honest 'not right now' than a comforting 'yes' that doesn't result in any actual work. If Warren thinks your DC needs more experience/confidence etc, it's well worth listening to him. But it may just be that he already has a child that is similar to yours on his books and it wouldn't be fair to represent two similar kids.
It's all good experience. There's plenty more to be going for (Panto, anyone?) and there are other agents.
Well done to all of you for getting this far

we have been offered a place but they need a yes/no by the 9th before the bobe assessment............

so we need to have a family chat as I really do not know what to do. I have had strong recommendations for bobe, have got to say I really liked TT they were efficient and prompt as well as well as friendly. Argggg don't know what to do.

Oh no! I only applied to tt and bobe but never heard back from bobe, so that made it nice and easy for us

I too liked them at auditions, i felt it was well organised yet relaxed and DD loved it. When is your bobe assessment ?

Haha... We r merseyside but i have excellent hearing

you could try speaking to warren and explaining hat you want to be sure of making the right choice and ask for an extention... There is just the fear it may alienate u? But i would imagine being in the industry he would understand?
Failing that you could put out a shout to everyone here and see which gets the most votes

Congrats to your DC I am truely pleased for them.
It appears to be a email that's sent to everyone that wasn't right for the agency at this time, I have emailed to thank them for the opportunity personal feedback would be great but they can't possibly do that for everyone that they auditioned I'm sure they are very busy.
I wasn't surprised to be honest this is very new to us and we didn't expect it to be a easy ride but we will keep trying.
My dc just loved going and that in its self will give them experience and confidence.
Good luck to all the successful dc can't wait to hear about all the exciting things they at all involved in.
Ps I welcome any advice from all parents etc as I am a total novice at this and only heard about top talent via Raz.
Sarah xx

I'm sure it wouldnt be possible to do it for everyone but if u dont ask u dont get

we are pretty new at this too, although she has been acting in a local school since she was 4 or 5 she only recently did her first audition and this is our first agency

So i'm not the best to give advice but what i will say is if its what ur dc want then just keep at it, a lot of it will just be luck or lack there of on the day. Do you do classes? I think they help with confidence x

That's very true. Think I just didn't want to be too pushy lol or upset agents.
It's very much driven by my dd (6) she dances for 3 hrs a week now but she did a year at Razamataz until she asked to take more dance lessons. I applied for my ds only because I want to give both dc the same opportunities but he is 3 so he to young to say either way. We are from Carlisle so the opportunities here are very hard to find such a small place. I'm going to talk to my dd about re starting Razamataz or even a drama class on a smaller scale .... Id love her to do both but it's all money money money.
I bet your dd is very excited wait til she tells all her friends xx
