I suspect that only the admin offices at each college would have that information and since there still seems to be movement on reserve lists, final figures for this year will not yet be available. Number of DADAs available at each college is bound to vary considerably from year to year in any case. They are not separate awards but a sum of money that is allocated. In a year when most of those offered a DADA have an income that requires a 6k parental contribution, the DADA money will be spread amongst more people than in a year where chosen students need only contribute 1k. The money each college gets is supposed to equate to how many DADA awards the college would have had to give out in 2012 when they were separate awards.

Hi
I am new on here so please bear with me if I am posting in the wrong place!
Does anyone know if BOVTS have made offers for the 3 year Acting degree course for entry 2014? My daughter was put on the short list (which we realise may be quite long) after her recall day in Feb. They did say they would advise if offer/rejection/reserve list by early July ...
I know it isn't quite that yet, but it has been such a long wait that I am wondering if she should realistically prepare herself for rejection this time round. It is her first year of applying and she has got further than she expected- so not a disaster if so. She'll reapply for next year. The wait is getting to us...

Thanks!

BOVTS is a fantastic and prestigious college, up there with the best for Acting. Your DD has done amazingly well to get on the reserve list first time round. I suspect that they don't make offers on the reserve list en masse, but probably in an ad hoc way as and when people they have made offers to respond to them. I would think until she hears otherwise she is still in with a chance. Good luck!!

Reserve list updates - does anyone have any updates of any DaDA offers from the reserve lists over the past 2 weeks? In particular BodyWorks or Performers? :)

Bristol Old Vic have strict quotas of boys & girls. It's very very difficult to get into so your dd has done very well.

Fingers crossed for her.
