Just to update you we have finally had a reply from Laine! Dd is number 7 on the reserve list. Very proud but it's going to be another agonising wait until we know whether things are going to start moving.

Dancemaddad do you mind me asking what number your daughter is on the reserve list?

Does anyone know from previous experience how much movement there is on the reserve lists?
xx
Glad you managed to find out Sue, fingers crossed for you & your Dd x

Two years ago our DS had funded offer at Bird which he got on the day of audition ,he initially accepted it and he was number 2 on reserve list for Laine(his no1 choice). The movement on lists seem to happen quickly and he got the offer from Laine in June so declined the offer at Bird. His friend was no5 on the reserve list at Laine and he got the funding offered in the August.DS very happy there.it is very early days so hang in there.some students have multiple offers and will start to make choices.

Think it's as bad for us parents as it is for our sons & daughter's!
Well done to your Dd & fingers crossed for Laine x

Thank you Chek we just feel relieved that we finally know where we stand!

If it's meant to be it's meant to be so will just have to wait patiently until we know more.

Really hoping that your dd gets the good news that she deserves very soon.

Hi Sue j she is number five on the list. I know someone is turning down there dada for Laine so they should hopefully all move up one place. I spoke to Laine and last year they offered down to 12 so fingers crossed for them all
Hi dancemaddad

Thank you so much for getting back to me! That's fantastic for your dd that she is number 5 on the list :D It sounds like they have a good chance of gaining a place if recent years are anything to go by.

Fingers crossed for our dd's and all those still waiting.

Thank you so much Mumof3girls :D

I'm just hoping that things move as much as they have in the last couple of years! There are no guarantees but we've got to stay hopeful.

Once the DaDA forms are sent out they give you a date to send them back by. Bird's was yesterday and Performers is the 6th June. I really think things will start to move over the next couple of weeks as people will have to make their minds up!

My DD will be starting at Laines in September. Does anyone know if there is a Facebook group for those starting yet?
We only just sent form back so haven't had any info from Laine yet but DD keen to chat to others before accommodation list comes out, especially other 16 year olds.

Won't the closing date to respond depend on audition date ? Don't think the current Bird foundation students have had their audition results yet x

Hi dancemom43

I hadn't realised that offers still hadn't gone out. Yes of course I guess it must depend on audition date. This is all so new to us it's all a bit of a minefield!
