Well we’re definitely not going to GSA
DS had a good day (and although started out last year with 2 left feet, was given some great comments on his dance - that was a surprise

) but wasn’t asked to stay for interview
I won’t go into too much detail but for the first time during this process he wasn’t actually bothered - he said it just wasn’t for him (and I’ve never heard him say that before) so it’s definitely Trinity for us
Have everything crossed for those still waiting for places xxx

It sounds like Trinity Laban was meant to be for your DS. Very happy he has a place at the perfect place for him x

Glad you have a final decision made and great feedback from GSA on the dance. Wishing him all the best at Trinity - great offer to have and affordable too (as these things go!)

Great to hear about the positive comments on his dance!
At least he can focus now on Trinity and knows where he’s off to 100%. Hopefully my DS will be clearer this week too.

Absolutely x
I’m all ready to pounce on the accommodation email next Friday now
Hope your DS gets his offer at GSA...and then it’s big decision time in your house

xx

Yes. hope we have a clearer idea from GSA come Friday. What with the email for Trinity accommodation and having to pay deposits! I think my DS may have already come across your DS, there’s a FB group for new Trinity students that my DS has joined. Also mentioned instagram?

Great. My DD so excited about going there. It is certainly the right place for her.

Hi everyone. I’m new. Wish I’d seen this forum a year ago. Seems so helpful and supportive and I’ve definteky got some grey hairs, high blood pressure and more anxiety.

My Dd has auditioned and been successful. We’re just now nervously waiting for the results of the Laine funding audition as that’s her top choice. The waiting is just the worst bit. Would love to know if anyone knows how long it could take. Keeping everything crossed.

Feeling much the same - I looked back on last year's thread and it seemed to be about 3 weeks before anyone on there had anything to report, my DS's friend said she heard two weeks when they were there and DS thought at least two weeks. I still keep checking the post just in case though...

Hi there, congratulations to everyone who has received offers so far! My Dd is at Laine and loving every minute, she’s literally living her dream each day! Laine is definitely THE place for her. We were very lucky in that she didn’t have to attend for funding, she was offered funding on the day of her actual audition. I’ve looked back and I can see some offers being made around May 12th and then accommodation lists were sent out during Whit. It could of course be different this year. Good luck to all waiting for news!

Ah yes. I see what you mean. I'll try to forget about it for another week at least then!
