I can print things from laptop when saved as a photo but not as a document can some on here please help me have to take letter to school tomorow to get permision for ds to film Wakeing The Dead beginning of next month. So I no the printer works and its talking to the laptop but can not understand why it will not print some things and not others. Im sure some one on here will be able to help me thanks

Hi Irishdancer, I know this is not a complete solution, but could you email the document to a friend, neighbour or even the school and ask them to print the doc for you. It sounds as though your settings on your computer need changing or printer settings, but I don't know how to tell you to do this. Anyway hope the 1st suggestion is an immediate solution to the problem.

Could you not save the info to USB stick and print off at school or on friends pc or email the info to school as Claret says ? Saving things on USB has saved my dd many times, as she's taken it in to school and used their printing facilities ! saving my ink !!! and getting the work off in time when we've had printer problems.- I agree ...the settings need fiddling with

Thanks phoned up the school and got email address and emailed the form to them they are going to fax it to LEA.
