I was wondering whether anyone has had any experience with 'The Casting Collective' and if yes what was the experience like?
I have been invited to a casting session for a film shooting locally to me and would like a bit more information before heading off.
From what i can tell they seem good but could someone enlighten me on them if possible? (pm me if you'd rather)
The main thing i'm confused by is the fact that i can find no information on the supposed film :/

I don't have any direct experience of them, but there's nothing in the terms and conditions or on the website that rings any kind of alarm bells with me.

It's not uncommon for organisations to keep public details to a minimum in pre-production. I would expect there to be some information somewhere online about a forthcoming film, but sometimes titles change, or they are known as something different, so not finding anything doesn't necessarily mean it's suspect. As an example I've just had a look at the IMDB listing of films the Casting Collective have provided extras for and discovered a series of short films I had a role in! The short films were in the "Coming Up" series on Channel 4. Each film had its own title (and writer and director) but they've all been lumped together here so if I'd looked for the one I was in, I wouldn't have found it under its title here.

I really hope this works out as there is rarely opportunities local to me.

Cc are a extra agency I have been with them a few years u have nothing to worry about I have had some good extra work with them they also have people who do walk on work with them

My son also with CC and has alot of work from them. Vwery good company. Son has been put forward as a double for the Devon film

Ahh hearing good things is making me happy, i really hope i get to do it.
Shortguy from experience of your son going to castings how likely do you think it is to get cast?

He doesnt often have to go to the castings and usually if he does he gets the job. He is probably pencilled on average for around 5 jobs a week and gets around half of those. Seems very popular because of his age at the moment as many are usually away at uni/college. When is the filming as J is pencilled for September time.
Will ask him what the film is later (if he knows) Its not Captain America/Frostbite is it - I know he is doing quite alot of work for that
