I am New Too? Should I try an agent?

Hello I am new to this site! It really looks helpful for advice etc so thanks to the person who set it all up. I am very nervous of being labelled a pushy parent but my child loves to perform sing, act or dance. I feel guilty all the time!! Is it just me who thinks he has talent & then I feel guilty I may be holding him back by not seeing if there are more opportunities other than school & stuff. He seems to do well & I was wondering if agents are really worth the registration fees and do they find work or is is worth just continuing to do open auditions etc I am confused & need advice!!
Have a read of previous posts...but I warn you, the site becomes addictive
