My DD who's 13 is attending the Jo Hawes workshop and NYT in January / February. It's the first time we've had to prepare a monologue and I don't know what would be suitable. Can anyone advise me please ?

Hi, I'm 14, and I'm also doing the Jo Hawes worksop & NYT! I recently bought a book called 'the methuen book of monologues for young actors' , and it's really good! Some of the monologues however are from plays I don't know so well, and my LAMDA teacher has 'Audition Speeches for 6-16 Year Olds: 50 Audition Pieces for Actors and Actresses ' , you can buy it on amazon here: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Audition-Speech ... 906&sr=8-2
