Both my dds did this 3 years running when they were younger. Had a ball! Highly recommended.

My Dd goes to SYTS every Saturday and loves it. The staff are really friendly and the standard of all the classes is really high. Would highly recommend

Hi . My ds has expressed an interest in the sylvia young Summer school. Can anyone tell me-is it worth going if you're based outside the London area? and also, as we live outside Cardiff, would there be somewhere he could stay whilst doing the school or would we have to find him somewhere? Thanks x

My dd a few this a few years ago and really enjoyed it with a really fun group of kids an. It ended up being v v expensive though as I had to stay up in London with her so we had to pay for a hotel, meals.... and of course lots of theatre tickets

Hi - The school has a list of hotels that give special rates for SYTS summer camp students but you may find it cheaper to look online options...

Hi, I've often used short-let apartments when we have too many guests. They are cheaper than hotels here in London and also offer the benefits of self catering which I think is better than eating out all the time. The company I've used and can recommend is Deep Blue Apartments. The offer very nice and clean accomodation in all areas. The web link is

Hope this helps
