Contemporary Dance Classes

Hi,
Can anyone suggest a good contemporary Dance Class or school in Hertfordshire / London. My DD (aged 13) belonged to a County Dance Group which was disbanded as not enough dancers auditioned for it in the last 2 years. A group started at her school, great but now the teacher is randomly picking on the children and after watching the talent show at school last night, I have serious doubts and want to get her back into a class outside of school.
Thanks

Your very best option would be to try to attend the Saturday Young Dancers programme at 'The Place'. There are additional classess in the week including the youth dance companies. In addition you could consider auditioning for the CAT (Centre for Advanced Training). There are CAT taster days next week - call to see if there are spaces available. Check out http://www.theplace.org.uk/engage. The Place is also the home for the Richard Alston Dance Company and London Contemporary Dance School.

If you are near Welwyn GC - try here: http://www.dancedesigntheatrearts.co.uk/ Excellent school for all types of dance & they are heavily involved in the All England comp circuit too if that is of interest....
