Hi

Looking for advice, DD is with Stagecoach Agency at the moment and they have provided her with some work (3 weeks in Chitty ensemble and 6 months in La Boheme with the ENO) and I'm not sure whether to re-sign with them or not whilst I appreciate that they have got her work I was surprised to find that they wouldn't put her forward for any other work/auditions whilst she was under contract to the ENO, although this was a six month contract it consisted of 4 learnings sessions, 10 rehearsals and 13 performances with a complete 7 week break over the xmas period when the panto season was in full swing and she was unable to do anything during this period, am I being unrealistic expecting her to be able to? Also we live near Bristol and not sure which other agents to approach/have a good track record, have spoken to some London based mums who get licences turned around in 48 hours but unfortunatley not the case here they have a set 4 week rule so not sure if I went with a london agent whether this would hinder the casting process.

I'm feeling very confused at the moment and would love some advice.
Thanks

I know of loads of children who have auditioned for other jobs whilst performing in the West End and indeed rehearsing for one show whilst still performing in another so no idea why Stagecoach would not put your child forward for auditions. I am sure there are others on this site who can offer more help regarding agencies though. I do know that Stagecoach has a lot of children on their books and this may be the reason why they won't allow children to audition whilst in other employment.
