Last year ds took part in a short film, we have never received a copy and all attempts of communication are being ignored, the director is on facebook and has an up to date profile but ignores my messages and apparently he also owes the camera man money! These were not students. I never signed a release form for the film, so where do I stand legally, is it worth going down that route in order to motivate him to communicate? Any thoughts?

Sounds as though he is keeping his head down, perhaps the camera man isn't the only one he owes money to. It's really discourteous not to even respond to your e-mails. If he ever decides to release the film and your haven't signed anything, he will have to chase you for a response !

unfortunately ds want his usual self in this film, as we discovered right at the end of the shoot he wasn't very well, poor love at least he managed to finish filming before he started being sick everywhere!

That is shocking behaviour

Glad you have the film now though - will watch it after school pick up
