EDINBURGH - SYT Summer course

A great chance to work with professional directors and specialist skills tutors to devise, rehearse and perform a new and exciting piece of theatre!
If you are aged between 12 and 15, then you can apply for Scottish Youth Theatre’s Two Week Foundation Course. This performance course offers the chance to work on general drama skills through a series of workshops and rehearsals.
The Foundation Course is hard work. There is a lot to get through in two weeks! If you are offered a place you will be expected to work from 10am to 6pm every day, Monday to Saturday.
When a residential option is available, the accommodation is Halls of Residence for a nearby University or College and Scottish Youth Theatre appoints residential staff to supervise the participants.
Applicants will be offered an audition in the form of a workshop and interview. Auditions will take place in April / May.
