Can you suggest a “look” for performances for tomboy dd?

Help! I have a tomboy dd who lives in shorts and t shirts.
She doesn’t fit into children’s clothes any more as she is nearly as tall as me, and broad-chested, despite being only 10! Unfortunately she needs clothes suitable for singing at concerts and playing in orchestras (violin) and we have major clashes as to what she should wear!
Has anyone any ideas or suggestions as to a look, or line of clothing that would look good for performances? She won’t wear leggings or skirts or dresses!

Oh bless her ! She probably feels really self conscious when she has to wear stuff she wouldn't usually wear. It's hard growing up sometimes !
When she's not all worked up about it, and you talk to her about it, does she accept she has to dress differently and more formally for a performance and if that is the case, what does she herself suggest ?
Would she go for smart formal black trousers and a plain white shirt ? I always wanted to get my dd a full boys black dinner suit ,as I thought the androgynous look would really suit her! I think women can look soo cool in mens dinner suits. Unfortuntately she never really had the occasion to wear one, but having said that, i might get her one now !!

I agree black trousers or long black skirts with white or black shirt looks very smart. When my dd sang with choir everyone had to wear long black shirts and black shirts with red belt and red necklace looked very nice and there were all different shapes and sizes. I am sure she will look very smart. Good luck.

Thanks bruno2, the red with the black +/- white sounds good
Think it would be easier if there was a uniform look that they were told to wear
