What casting means in this sense?

I've been asked to preform a monologue and in the e-mail it says "it must reflect your casting",
im assuming this means my age, gender, looks ect. am I right, please reply asap if you know anything, I'd be so grateful!

does it not mean - reflect the part you are casting/auditioning for? :D

I'm not sure because its for an agency not really a character and i haven't been given any type of character prior to this, I've already learnt a monologue for it, and its for a teen girl- like me, so I'm still not sure :S thanks for replying so quickly! :)

Hello! Might be too late with a response but you were right with your first assumption.

"must reflect your casting" just means that you need to choose something that suits you! In other words, to use an extreme example, if you're a teenage girl don't choose Lady Macbeth (or Hamlet!). Try to find something modern with a character that you can imagine being cast as - it's that simple... and that difficult!
