Hi, I'm a bit confused...... wonder if anyone can help...
Was thinking i'd just open a basic profile for my dd so I can see what it's all about, don't want to pay coz think it's expensive ( more then Spotlight) but it's asking me for all kinds of stuff....
Does anyone know how much info you put into the free basic listing... and when does the £10 month kick in... don't want to suddenly owe them an outstanding bill coz I unknowingly but too much info in.
Does anyone have a basic profile you can share the link with me to???
Also what extras do you get for the paid profile....
Any help at all would be really really appreciated.
Thank you

DD only has a basic profile now - the content of the profile is the same whether you pay or not,but you can't apply for jobs and access some of the resources e.g. can't apply to agencies through CCP if you don't pay. Here's a link to DD's profile:

My dd had a profile on kccp and a few months ago we started paying as my dd wanted to apply for something. To be honest there are hardly any jobs available on the site and even more few and far between for my dd's age (16) so I think it's a bit of a waste of money for my dd tbh.

ok great, thanks so much for that... I was thinking it was too good to be true when they were wanting all her details....
Sapphire your dd has done loads of stuff, she's gorgeous too

Has she been with her current agent for long, we too are in the North and are at present with a Manchester agency but have been debating moving her as opportunities are limited. Thinking adding her on kccp, Starnow and Spotlight might help. Her current agency was almost talking me out of Spotlight saying the same opportunities are available through the agency but it seems so many insist that there must be a good reason for it.
Any of your sound advice on these things would be a great help too.....
DD has done absolutely loads of Pro theatre but is really wanting to act more so we got an agent about a year ago now and she's done voice overs and corporate but no tv/film castings at all.... hopeing to open some more doors without having to move agency's if possible.

To be honest, you are unlikely to get much work through CCP. DD has only had one job through CCP - the road safety advert. However, it costs nothing to join and it's another way of getting your CV out there and employers do view her profile. DD has had some interesting projects through Starnow, Mandy and Talent Circle. The recent BBC work was through her new agent. DD is very happy with Kelly Management ... she signed with them at the end of August and has had plenty of auditions up North and down in London over the past 6 months. Who are you with in Manchester?

PHA...... Dd is in both modelling and acting divisions, they are lovely and it's nice and small but only had auditions in Manchester which of course is great so not traipsing up and down the country but it's also limiting... you can't have it both ways though so am a bit torn..... that's why was kind of thinking do these profiles and spotlight for the next year and see after that, She is 12 now and has braces ( only on bottom for now) so not a good time to try and change agents anyway.
Was your dd with a Manchester agent before Kelly????

No DD has never had a Manchester based agent. She was with Chilli Kids previously.

Thanks for that but I couldn't get it to open!!!! whoops
I've done my dd's over the weekend, took me hours!!!! Am just waiting for her photos to be approved and then I will add it on here, if you get a chance to have a quick look see if you think we should add or take away anything. But yes agree it's a good place to keep CV's up to date as have to say her agent isn't all that quick!!!!

I think you need to log out of KCCP and then find your profile through the search to get the correct link ... there should be some numbers at the end of it

Thanks cops22, was your dd at The Crucible too? F really enjoyed herself, partly because she was with older girls who mother her and because she got to do something a little older than she usually does. When she is with children her own age they are generally not as experienced as her so things are quite basic.
She suprised us all during the performance because all the way through rehearsals she had refused to say a line which had a swear word in it, so they changed it for her, then in the actual performance she delivered the original line, which had the desired 'shocking' effect!

Ha ha.... yes I was there for all rehearsals too so we actually have met. No my dd didn't do it she was in the Annie tour so was at the Lyceum that week. I was chaperoning all day at the Crucible for TNFD and then going to the Lyceum for Annie, it had 3 matinees that week too so it was a little crazy!! Think I taught a few classes too... ha ha no wonder I look as old as I do.....

We joined early so got a free life membership. There are very few jobs but its a good way to have an uptodate cv you can send out when you apply privately for castings, bit quicker than the agent updating Spotlight!
A week ago we had an email from a Bournemouth uni student offering ds work , so thats quite useful as employers can send you messages direct. DS did get a really good film job through them 18 months ago, again through an email invite to a casting.
DS is 17 so i'm not sure if they kick you off when you are 18
Here is his link (maybe!).
