Has anyone had a callback for this?

How I Live Now.
I know they have cast the lead girl, but my friend went up for the leading male and was given a four week wait. Its only ben 2 weeks, but i was wondering if anyone's ds's have had a call back for this?
or if there is any news?

They've been visiting schools all over the country during March and planned to audition over 300+. The director Kevin MacDonald will watch all audition tapes before deciding on who to call-back in the next couple of weeks so it should be quite soon...

this has been going on for yonks hasn't it - why has it taken so long ?
can't believe they're still casting ?

They changed casting directors a few times, and then it was postponed for a year! I suggested my friend for the part a year ago, and they said they would get back in contact the next year, and i was kind of like 'yeah right...' and then they did!
They have to match the entire family up, and also work around the lead female who has been cast. And it involves kids so it always takes a while.
When i was like 13 (5 years ago!) and going up for stuff, they were looking for people then, when it was going to be a short. I guess someone picked it up and wanted to change it to a feature.
