I think that the sides are the pages of the script/particular scenes they will be filming at the audition ... hope that helps!

Its funny how sometimes a strange word or phrase apprears that you've never heard before - only occasionally. Usually you guess correctly.

Yes they normally send the entire script and then the pages to be prepared for the casting Helps to look over entire script as they sometimes ask about it, and it gives idea of character

Whole script is 150 pages but DS trying to look through it!!

when mine were smaller, i used to read through the scripts and give them a precis - after a certain age, they just have to get on with it themselves

Mine is much older so certainly got on with it himself although I did phone him yesterday to check he was out of bed, what was he wearing, had he shaved,re read the sides etc etc
