Many of you have lready neen kind enough to give my dd's original songs a listen and therefore a vote in the Herts Songwriter Competition. Personally, I think they have left it running far too long - a week would have been enough, it's been open nearly 2 months!

Anyway, the closing date is WEDNESDAY 31st OCTOBER and she is at No. 5 and No.14. (lucy H)

Sometimes when you click on the above link the songs don't play on Lucy's page, if you go to the tag for most popular as igloobabe suggests then your vote will register. Don't forget to then go onto the second page and vote for her other 3 songs, lets see if we can get all 5 of her terrific songs in the top 30. GO LUCY

You guys are unreal!! I've just got back from Open Mic Uk Regional Final* so haven't voted at all! I didn't even realise the others had crept up to page 2! Through The Darkness is also original, the other two are covers so don't count for the songwriter award.

I have played them all but can't see where to vote as such ?

It does register if you play the song through the chart page. I have been checking by playing the song and then updating the page to make sure the vote has counted ...

Yes, I think every listen counts as a vote,but you need to let it play through. (turn the sound down if u get fed up!) hehe.

No more than 1 per hour from any IP address was what I was told.

It also registeres a vote (if you are in a hurry) if you let it start playing and skip to the last few seconds! obviously I only do this when I'm voting as I go out the door!

L is doing really well and with a bit of a push I reckon we could get all three of her original songs into the Top 20! Please vote for 'Through the Darkness' today ... it's currently no. 21 .... she needs about 35 votes to make it to the top 20 and the first page! The competition ends tomorrow ...
