Saturday/Sunday morning drama classes for adults?

Hi,

I'd really like to start taking drama classes again. I'm looking for something either on a Sat/Sun morning on a weekly basis (only because I live in a very dangerous area where men like to follow you up the road late at night so going to evening classes is a stress).

I did a google search, but all the drama classes I came across for my age (26) are in the evening.

Is anyone aware of any drama classes for adults of my age held in the mornings on the weekend?

Thanks for your help and for reading!

Hi ellee :)

I understand what you mean about evening classes, most important thing is to keep yourself safe.

I know this place called "City Academy" -they are a huge franchise for adults (18 and over- there is no upper age limit). They do all kinds of performing art lessons like dance; ballet, tap, modern, jazz, street etc, musical theatre, singing, film making, script writing and of course drama :) They literally do all levels from beginners to advanced.

Where are you based? If you don't mind me asking - I don't want to be giving you places to far away- although City Academy take place in a wide range of venues - and times.

There drama classes are "courses" usually 6-8 weeks and you pay for all the sessions then the course starts up again.

If you were going in any of the classes; beginners, improvers, or intermediate you can take classes from 10:00am to 12:00pm, 10:30am to 12:30pm, 11:00 am to 12:30pm, or 10:00am to 1:00pm - classes all around that time set at many different venues- angel(islington), the soho theatre, battasea arts centre(Clapham junction), and sadlers wells. These are the only venues for you're time set and they take place on Saturday's.
The prices range from about £145 to £195 depending on weeks and the duration of a class.

I have no idea if this is helpful to where you're based but goodluck with the search anyway :)
