Hi,

Anyone have good experience with northwest agencies? we have transport so reasonable travel is fine, just dont want to pick the wrong one... i am going into this a little blind as my daughter is the only one in the family who is 'into' the performance arts... she can act well and can carry a tune... so theatre or tv work

We were accepted onto Bannafish but by their own admission they dont get much in the way of childrens work. So looking to move to somewhere busier.

Thanks in advance...

There are quite a few advertised on the starnow website at the moment looking for people in the north west, Liverpool and Manchester.

You don't need your agent to be near you as once you are taken onto their books you probably won't see them that often. Even if your agent is up North, you will end up travelling for auditions! Why not check out some of the other excellent children's agencies discussed at length in other threads in this folder? I go for one of them if I were you!

A lot of my students are with scream management. We're based in Warrington so know it's been ideal for a lot of my students as i would say 90% of castings have been based at media city in Salford so tremendously cuts down on the cost of traveling as some of those children were with other agents previously and were always going to London for castings - even if the project was filming in Manchester!

I think with the BBC and ITV now both in media city it's a lot easier for northern children! x

Hi, this is really helpful. Has anyone had any ( even ) more recent experience with scream? They look successful. But they do have those upfront fees...
