Sky Atlantic Series Auditions Girl Aged 9-12
Julie Harkin Casting CDG (Utopia, Misfits) are currently casting FORTITUDE a dramatic new crime thriller written by Simon Donald for Sky Atlantic and Starz produced by Fifty Fathoms/Tiger Aspect.

We are looking for an intelligent young actress (9-12 years old) for the role of Carrie Morgan, an independent, straightforward girl who appears throughout the series.

She’s older than her years because she has a natural realisation that things are tough for her dad and she tries her best to help him out. She’s very independently minded for a girl her age. She’s quite fearless and curious. She misses her mum but she doesn’t let her dad know how much. Carrie has a lot of personality and spirit.

DD was seen for this last week via agent. Looks like a great role!

Had to laugh - I was reading the brief to my dd and explained that it was being shot on location in the Arctic Circle. She got all excited and said "Yay! I could visit Uncle Bruce!" I gently let her down when I told her that UB is with the British ANTarctic Survey - about as as far away as you could get. Shame!

I applied for my daughter. Had a standard "we'll contact you if we want to take things further" this morning but nothing more. She is probably much to young as she is only just 9 but no harm in trying!

Not even had an acknowledgement so presume its a no, applied about 2 wks ago

Hi are you older then 12 as I think they are going by age not playing age .Xx:) I am 15 had haven't got an email either.

Yeah mine is 11 but generally plays 9/10 seemed to fit bill but who knows!!
