Hi, has anyone been to this exhibition? It's quite expensive so I was wanting to know what it was like/ target age group etc? Thanks!

Hi there....We went a couple of years ago...It's great, although it can get really busy, and a bit too busy for someone who doesn't like crowds.....Some of the dance classes didn't seem to monitor how many students were in the classes, and in a contemporary class my dd was actually kicked in the face during a floor sequence because there was just not enough room. We are going again this year, but on a Friday (we are hoping it will be less busy). There is lots of shopping, and bargains to be had. If your child is at an age where they are thinking of applying to colleges I would definitely recommend it as lots of dance colleges have stands and perform there. The three days are all slightly different, in regards to college performances and classes so check the programme before you book....and have fun! xxx

Great day out for any performers - sadly can't go this year due to other commitments.
Beanie-bean - Friday is definitley less busy than the weekends (have done both!)
Jasmine2 - hope your dd has a wonderful time performing, how exciting for her
Last year managed to get school to authorise a days absence to go - said it would be educational and would mean less days out of school going to individual college open days
Hope you all enjoy it! x
