HELP/ADVICE please GP letter

Can anyone help me,I have been offered a last minute role within tv,although have got everything signed apart from my GP letter,they wont give me an appointment have tried all day and need it by Monday morning can anyone give me any advice this would be my first job. Thank you so much for any help or/and advice .Xxx

I don't think you need a GP's letter any more. The law is changing to allow parents to declare their children fit. I don't know exactly when this change comes in, but flosmum posted yesterday, saying she'd just done one, so perhaps message her or search online. Here's the thread where she posted:

There are drop-in clincs round and about where you don't need an appointment. I don't know if it would work for this though as they may require a letter from a GP who knows you and your medical history? I'm not sure how strict it is - never had such a last-minute casting before. Good luck!

Talk to the Receptionist nicely, we haven't needed appointments for ours. Best of luck getting this sorted out

Flo's most recent license only required a parental declaration - check with your LEA.
