Which agency?

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, i'm new. I would just like some advice.

My 3 month old son has been accepted by afew agencies but now I'm not sure which one to go with? The agencies are: Elisabeth smith, Childsplay, Base models, Smallsaints, Bizzykids and also Scallywags but I have heard Bizzy kids and Scallywags accept anyone and it's a bit of a con with babies?

Has anyone had any experience with any of these? Or heard anything good or bad, I would really appreciate some advice :)

Many thanks,
Ash

Don't know if Scallywags accept everyone but there is a cost to be on their website and I don't think they insist on meeting you so you might want to take that in to consideration.

Hi Ashjones

The subject of agencies has been discussed many times on this forum. My advice to anyone who is new to this is to put the kettle on, put your feet up and read through the threads. You'll find lots of experience, advice and information that many NAPMs have shared, very generously, over time. And I'm sure that what you learn will more than repay your investment of time and effort.

Have fun!

And let us know how you get on

Deb x

I was just wondering if anyone could advise me on who they would go with, but I will have a look through the threads, thanks.

If you haven't already then I'd also try applying to Kids London, Grace and Galor, Bonnie and Betty, Urban Angels and Daisy and Dukes.

But out of the bunch you mention then I'd probably say Scallywags but do try those others first if you haven't already.

Many thanks for everyone's replies, I have decided on an agency now, didn't think there was so much work in just picking one! But did what you said and had a read and have made a decision, thanks :)

My dd was with Elizabeth Smith when she was much younger. They were very good but I also had baby in tow and it was just too difficult to get to jobs easily as we were only given a day's notice (sometimes 12 hours or so). I know this is normal but just does not work with other children to cope with.

If it's modelling advice needed for babies, there are plenty of threads on Mumsnet...just type in the relevant search words and go...

Thanks, Will do, I only posted on here as I thought it was more to do with things like acting, modelling etc, thought there may be people who have worked with some of the agencies and could give feedback. :)
