diploma v degree in MT
Hello. I am a new member and have a question that some of you may be able to help me with. I have seen that some of the drama schools offer a 1 year conversion course from diploma to degree. Can anyone who has been on a 3 yr diploma course do the conversion to degree, or only students who have done their course at that particular school eligible to then do the conversion course?

Hello and welcome !
I think you need to move this to the "training" boards
This is for admin posts.. You may get a better response there ....

I'll jump in before (or maybe even after) the move.
It depends is the answer - because there are a number of courses that have "diploma' in their title and they don't all sit at the same academic place and level. For a course to be topped up to a degree, the university that validates it need to have looked at the content, compared to the degree programme on offer. This is why sometimes top ups are a year but others are more like 18 months because there are bits missing. The only way to know for sure is to ask!
