I've just enquired near me for my dd and they said she could start so I dont see why not.phone around a few and see what they say.

No it isn't too late. My daughter started at 12 a year ago is in a grade 3 class, 4 after Christmas if she continues to work at it.
Yours will just have to work a bit harder and do lots of flex and stretch...the annoying thing for mine is that she is with younger girls, an incentive to move up.
By the way I started tap at 45 so it's never too late as far as I am concerned!
